Liveable Nakskov

2024, Masters Project at Roskilde University

As a part of my master’s studies at Roskilde University, I was involved in the collaborative research project LEVEDYGTIGE NAKSKOV (Liveable Nakskov) with the Fehmarn BELT Region Plan & Network Initiative. The project was a qualitative research study aimed at learning more about the lives and urban experience of the residents of Nakskov, Denmark — a peripheral community often overlooked and stigmatized in the Danish context.

Through interviews, walking tours, and photographic methods with our informant, Tina, we collected data in order to represent the nuanced and honest experience of living in Nakskov through the eyes of citizens themselves.

The project went on to become a temporary physical exhibition in the centre of Nakskov, as well as presented as this online exhibition.
